Media and it's Contribution in Today's Generation

Media is a communication tool that we use in our everyday life, but before, the word ‘Media’ is just any other word that we use or know, but don't actually know the real meaning behind of it. In my opinion, before actually knowing the meaning of ‘Media’, I though it was just a term/word that was somehow related to the word ‘News’, but I was completely wrong. Media is actually one of the most influential discoveries of Humans, it helps us throughout the day and is useful for every one of us.

Media is efficient and necessary in the 21st century. You would most likely notice that everyone use several platforms to get updated, be aware and to get communicated. In my perspective, the most relevant function of Media is being able to have communication with our friends, family/relatives, being able to call or send messages towards them rapidly without taking weeks or months to be received. With Media, even if some of your friends live across the country or another country, you have the ability to communicate (message, call) with them whenever you want. Thus, Media is significant, it offers a lot of function such as entertainment which many of us often use. I use to remember being an ignorant at the time of Pandemic because I didn't have a cellular phone and I wasn't aware that there are actually platforms like Google, who can help me with my activities or modules, which could've been so useful. 

Media has really been such an impact in our life. It has influenced is a lot, we get information from it, and that is honestly helpful but, sometimes we forget that using Media can also affect our life, like Cyberbullying and Cybercrime. These two could really impact one's life, that's why, we must only use Media precisely and necessarily because this may be a way for us to be mindful and respectful in the future, even if strangers, let us always add a little extra kindness towards everyone, because this type of mindset is essential when we use Media.
